Kennedy Reid is a 24-year-old, small-town girl who was born and raised in the Kentuckiana area. Kennedy is most recently known for finishing as a Top 20 finalist on the long-running ABC network television show, American Idol. As a rising female country artist, she had the honor of being mentored and coached by Grammy award-winning artist Jelly Roll during her time on the show.

By day, Reid is a mortician — by night, a passionate singer with a heart for storytelling through song. Inspired by country legends like Dolly Parton, Linda Ronstadt, Tammy Wynette, and Reba, Kennedy brings a soulful edge to modern country music.
